Languages in NariYume

NariYume’s app interface is available in English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, French and Italian. You can change the language in Settings. Interface language, the language of a message and the accuracy of spoken output are related, but they are not the same thing.

Choose an app language

The app can follow your browser language, and Settings lets you change the supported interface language. Pick the one that makes menus and controls easiest to understand.

A guide translated into Traditional Chinese does not mean the app has a Traditional Chinese interface. The supported interface choices described here are English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese.

Set the conversation

If you want a particular language or level of difficulty, say so in your message. For example: “Let’s use short Japanese sentences about food.” You can ask for an explanation in English when a phrase is unfamiliar.

Names, mixed-language messages and specialist terms can be harder to interpret. Spell out an important name or restate a sentence if the response misunderstands it.

Try speech separately

For voice, try a short exchange on your own device before a longer conversation. Recognition, pronunciation and conversational phrasing can vary by language and context.

We do not claim equal accuracy across all languages or dialects. If a phrase matters for work, study or travel, check it against an appropriate learning source.

Practice at your pace

You can begin by reading and typing, then try saying one sentence aloud. A casual AI conversation can be part of practice, alongside lessons, dictionaries and conversations with people.
