Providing the conversation
Messages and relevant context are processed by NariYume’s infrastructure and AI service providers. Content may also be reviewed for safety, support and enforcement of the Terms. The policy identifies the kinds of providers involved.
The Privacy Policy also describes use of conversations with account identifiers removed to train and improve NariYume’s own models, subject to the conditions it sets out. Removing account identifiers is not a promise that arbitrary free-text content cannot identify someone.
Advertising is a separate question
The policy states that conversations, voice recordings and memories are not shared with advertising partners. It separately describes sharing of limited identifiers and product events when advertising measurement is enabled.
That distinction matters: “we do not share chat text with advertisers” does not mean “we collect no data” or “there is no advertising measurement.” Read the Data Usage Policy for the advertising details.
Privacy choices
Use Your Privacy Choices and select Essential only to opt out of optional advertising. The published policy also describes honouring Global Privacy Control. These controls do not disable the processing needed to provide an AI conversation.
For stored conversation data and deletion, follow the current instructions in the Privacy Policy and app settings. Browser-local data and cloud account data can require different actions; signing out is not the same as deleting them.
Before sharing a detail
Keep sensitive information, confidential work material and other people’s private details out of casual chats. You can discuss an idea or situation in general terms.
For a question about your own account data, use the contact details in the Privacy Policy. This summary does not replace that policy or create an additional data-handling promise.
