Give enough context
Names can be shared by different characters, and adaptations can tell a story differently. Mention whether you mean a manga, an anime season, a film or a particular game version.
If the release is recent, explain the detail you want to discuss. An AI character’s answer is not a verified source for the latest update, patch or episode.
Three prompts to adapt
- “I’m through episode four. Without discussing later events, what do you think of this decision?”
- “I keep choosing the defensive option in this game. What would make you take a risk?”
- “I disagree with the ending because of this one scene. Does my interpretation make sense?”
Separate fact from opinion
A character can discuss your interpretation without reliably recalling every plot point or mechanic. Correct a factual error directly. Check an official guide, release note or the work itself when the detail matters.
You can also ask for a different interpretation rather than agreement. A useful exchange can be about why a scene worked for you, not about finding a single correct reaction.
Turn it into an activity
Try a themed question, a choice between two characters or an original story inspired by a broad genre. The games catalogue includes word and story activities if you would prefer a structured starting point.
