Listen to ordinary replies
A long narrated paragraph and a short conversational answer test different things. Try a question that invites a sentence, a follow-up that needs a brief reply, and a word or name you use often.
Notice whether the voice fits the words. A pause, laugh or change in emphasis may suit one response and feel distracting in another. Preference matters here; a feature list cannot decide it for you.
Check the controls
Before a longer conversation, make sure you can hear the character and that your microphone permission is set as intended. Find the call-ending control, and try returning to text.
Headphones can help when speakers feed sound back into the microphone. A noisy room or unstable connection can affect the experience independently of the voice itself.
Compare on the same device
If you compare services, use the same device, browser, connection and type of question. Separate the delay before a reply begins from the time needed to finish speaking it.
This guide does not claim a measured speed advantage for NariYume. Response timing depends on the request, network and service conditions.
Nari and Yume’s voices
Each character has her own voice presentation. You can listen to replies while reading the conversation, or start a call when speaking is more convenient. If audio is unavailable in your current setting, you can use text chat instead.
